It's rare to find a strategy game that my kids actually beg to play, but this one has them hooked on plotting their sneaky five-in-a-row moves. The tile placement gets delightfully tense once you're all blocking each other's lines.
We played this with the kids last weekend, and the way you can sneak a win on the diagonal when everyone’s watching the main rows is genuinely clever. It’s simple enough for our 7-year-old, but me and my husband were properly plotting against each other by the third round.
The sneaky 5-in-a-row scoring is way more tense than I expected—my kids keep trying to outwit each other and it works great with four players. Even the adults got competitive, and the tile placement adds a nice layer of strategy that keeps everyone on edge.
